I used a photoshop actions from ColourLover “mankineko” :
His actions let you to take a snapshot of an image, and instantly turns it into a palette. You can find these actions on his profile page.
My best solution so far for working with these palettes in Flash is to save them as gif files. You can load them directly into the swatches panel in Flash – they will open as as swatch libraries. Here are some of the gif files I’ve been working with. Try it! Save one of these on your own computer, and in Flash, go to the context menu of the swatches panel (at the top right of the panel). Choose “Replace Color” and point the file chooser at a gif image.
