I recently decided that I wont continue with my present job past the end of this year. Well, actually I’ve decided that quite a while ago, but I finally got around to doing something about it.
I’m not following all those excellent rules about how to quit – I don’t have a new job lined up yet and I have no idea what I will be doing next.
It took me a very long time to realise that although my reasons for leaving might not seem sensible to most people, they make sense to me.
I have five more months to tie up all my loose ends and then…who knows?

Sometimes, well several time, I think we let our lives follow the way of the world too much. It would be nice to take a break 🙂
I bet you will have a free and cheerful life after that. Enjoy!

Remember, your reasons for quitting don’t have to make sense to anyone else. You’re the important person there.
I wish you good luck with the loose ends and wherever else your journey decides to leave you, Masha. ^-^ As long as you’re happy with where your road is going, that’s the important part!

Thanks Sharna – I’m holding on to that thought! 🙂

How brave, Masha. I’d love to do the same but I’ve got a family to support and can’t afford to yet. The dogs won’t keep themselves in yoghurt drops!
So I wish you all the best luck in the world, and I’ll look forward to reading about it (and seeing the drawings?)

🙂 My dogs are very fond of yoghurt…but I guess they would get tired of yoghurt drops pretty soon if that was all they got. We were joking that it was their turn to support the family for a change… Yes I hope this will mean that there will be more drawing time. And writing time too? But I’ve got 5 more months to go before I’m free.
