So now that I’m self-employed, I should have more time for my own creative work, right? Ha ha ha ha. Um. Actually, I’ve been racing deadlines for the last month or more and not done ANY drawing. So to make myself feel a little better, I’ve been scanning some drawings that I did a while ago.
A pensive lady with a scarf:
This one has something to do with the idea of a phoenix being reborn:
And one about a little girl and her mother:
And of course, I could not resist generating some patterns from these. I’m sure nobody finds these patterns as fascinating as I do – but they are so addictive to create:

Hi Masha!
It’s great to hear from you. Congratulations on being self-employed!!
I know exactly what you mean about the deadlines, and working from home can be lethal if we are not strict with ourselves.
I love your patterns, they make good background pictures for blogs, like the one you have up now.
Take care,
work hard!

Hi Sassy Thanks for the comment ! I know – for a while Fridays were my “creative work” days – got to get back to that. At the moment it is so un-be-lie-va-bly hot over here – I’ve just gone to put my head under the hose pipe to cool down a bit. Its so hot, I cant face the walk to the swimming pool close by here!
Too hot to work, but the work must get done 🙂
